Refund & Cancellation Policy

Course Registration Cancellation:

Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to a course will be issued a full refund.
Cancellations received within 14 days of a course will be given a 50% refund if requested via email.

Cancellations received within 7 days of a course date are ineligible for any refund as instructors and equipment are scheduled based on course attendance.

For cancellations, you must contact the Training Center either by email (gwtrainingcenter@mfa.gwu.edu).

In the rare instance a course is canceled by the Training Center, you will be contacted via phone and/or email to be reschedule or issue a refund.

Course Materials Refunds:

Course materials are non-refundable. For materials purchase and unopened (still in plastic wrapping), the Training Center may refund these items, less shipping and inclusive of a restocking fee. For more information, please contact the Training Center.

 

Course Failure Policy:

Failure of a course is not grounds for a refund. If permitted by the course governing body (AHA, NAEMT, ACS, etc), the student will be afforded the opportunity to remediate. Remediation must occur within 30 days of the end of the course, unless a different timeframe is specified by the course governing body. Refunds will not be provided if remediation does not occur within the alloted time-frame.
